International Chess School

The Chess Lessons

For 1 year, the students receive every month a set of chess lessons which represent the core of our School and which make REAL progress in chess happen.

Our School's lessons are focused on middlegames and greatly increase the positional understanding of the student. This training program also teaches them how to think, preparing them for any practical situation on the chess board.

The main difference between a strong player (over 2200) and a club player is the level of understanding and the "feeling" for the position. This is what our lessons are focused on and where many players fail as there is no good and structured material that describes and explains it.

Actually our lessons were and they still are used by promising children, most of whom already reached a high level in chess.

The theoretical lessons are combined with instructive games, exercises, questions and positions for individual analysis, followed by comprehensively annotated solutions to complete our chess course.
