Hello Aldrich,

Thanks for attending the workshop and for visiting our site, which is your site now. You did well by finishing 3rd in the mini-tourney. That was actually an unplanned tourney, but WNM Daisy suggested to make it a round-robin. We will give you your bronze medal next year.

And if the schedule permits, we will have another workshop in January, most probably a Saturday.

Merry Christmas.

Prior to this, our Club has organized other workshops for kids. I think the very first was held at the Theater Lounge and Club members including NM Cabellon as instructors.

Others were those conducted by Manny Benitez Sr, IM Rudy Cardoso, NM Efren Bagamasbad, and NM Andrew Vasquez. There is also another workshop by Club Officers Lilet Bersamina, Darryl Mata, Karl Clarito and me.

This workshop by GM Bong was an off-shoot of Rhal's private lessons with the GM. I thought that it was so effective and I want the other juniors of MERALCO family to benefit from the veteran GM instructor.

The 1-day workshop is composed of lecture in the am and mini-tourney in the pm.

And in this 1st mini-tourney, the top 3 placers are JC Andan, Rhal Sol Cruz and Aldrich Alcausin.
