Hi Mr Rolly (dropping the sir as requested) I've failed to attend to some of the invitation you have given to us in the past regarding the chesstivities of Meralco chess club. if there's anything big that's going to happen again in Meralco everynow and then, pls let me know. If my time allows (which is usually the biggest problem), I will drop by and feature them in ChessHeroes for added exposure.
This is a try-out for MERALCO Team for the coming 1st MVP Summer Olympics.
The qualifiers according to the final standing are: 1 Abet Casiano 2 Ray Domingo 3 June de Galicia 4 Jun Saul 5 Edson Gonzales 6 Bong Masa
However, Edson will not be able to play on the 26th where 3 of the 5 rounds are scheduled, thus, he opted to back-out and was replaced by 7th placer Jonas Santiago, the 2008 Aguila Memorial Champion.
